New things

A few new things about Addison:

• She likes to find our belly buttons
• She likes to hand me things, not quite sharing though because she takes them right back
• She likes to feed me her food (I'm beginning to hate cold peas!)
• She is sleeping from 7:30pm to 6:30am without eating
• She has a pair of sneakers now
• She is in size 12 month now

Six more weeks until we celebrate her 1st birthday!

Tunnel Time

We got Addison a tunnel and she likes it!  Everyone has gone through it...even Lou Lou and Stella!

As of today, Addison's new walking record is 8 steps!  Trying to get a video.

Swimboree with Daddy

Andrew went in with Addison today during her swimboree class.  I took some pictures and a video.  There is one other boy on Saturdays and he is not a huge fan of the water!  On Wednesday there are 4 other babies about her age.

Snow!

This winter has been much warmer than last years, but we finally got a good snowfall.  We took Addison out to the park near our house to experience it.  She sat, sank, and then crawled in it!

Addison also has a new obsession: the dishwasher.  She actually climbed on the door today.  Usually she just pulls things out.  That makes two chores that I can't do very easily with her, vacuum and dishes. 

Drew is settled into his last semester of law school.  He is taking five classes this time.  125 days until graduation!

Swimboree!

I haven't posted in a while....I blame that on the Hunger Games Trilogy! 

I tried to start a baby playgroup in our apartment building a few months ago, but I couldn't really get the word out so I gave up on it.  Last week I found out another mom was interested!  So we met and it was nice. I am going to try to update the flier and see if I can reach any other moms.  The management office, although they think its a great idea, can't help advertise it.  Anyway, the mom I met told me about the British Swim School that meets on the next street over.  They have a mommy-and-me (or daddy) class for babies.  So we enrolled her in the class, Swimboree, for the month of January.  It meets twice per week for half an hour.  We went yesterday and she liked it!  We practiced a few different skills that will help her get used to the water and then we played a little.  I'm so glad we found out about it!  It's a nice winter activity!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Family and Friends!  Andrew and I did manage to stay up until midnight, but it was hard. Addison, however, slept through the ENTIRE night (12 hours) without waking to eat!  This is a record for her!  It showed me that she is ready for night weaning.

There are many new things going on in Addison's little life now:

She has 6 teeth now!  One cut while we were in Florida and the other just a few days ago.  So she now has 4 on top and 2 on bottom.

The night before we left for Florida (17th) she took her first very wobbly steps (two steps) and has done it again a few more times!

Today is also Tiffany Jane Barber's birthday!  We miss her very much!
