Family time!

Andrew took the week off work after Audrey's camping trip!

We biked down to the Brooklyn Navy Yard and went up to the rooftop farm at Brooklyn Grange. It was awesome, and so were the views.

We went to the very cool Transit Museum and tried out all the old subway cars.

Addison requested that I take her strap hanger pictures waist up so it would look like she was a grownup.

I guess this is her "subway face"!

The one time its okay to run around on the train!

Audrey's souvenir.

We dinned outside in the courtyard as much as possible.

Biked to Prospect Park.

Vale Park.

Thank you, Tiffany and Rob for the caterpillars!

Saying goodbye to the caterpillars.

Riding Williamsburg Bridge with Daddy

Happy Birthday, Audrey!

Audrey wanted to go camping in the woods for her 4th birthday, so we did! We took Grammy, Tiffany, and Rob with us too! We took the train and headed out of the city to Beacon, NY for a few nights.

The campground we stayed at picked us up and took us to the trail head.

We chose the medium hike, which was about 2.5 hours, ranging from easy to pretty difficult! Addison was almost able to hike the whole way on her own, Audrey enjoyed the view from shoulder height!

The canopy of green was wonderful.

Grammy the warrior.

The girls immediately noticed the tiny caterpillars EVERYWHERE and loved it!

We found the "bath house" and made a few trips there, a few million.

Ahhh, Audrey in her element.

Rob was a pro a building the fire.

Cooking

We ate a lot of food.

And nightly s'mores!

Eggs

Grammy supplied the camo.

Daddy in his element.

Some ladybug love.

More s'mores.

I will have to say, Rob's s'mores technique was probably the best.

I guess we are sisters...tired sisters!

Good choice, Audrey! It was so refreshing to be surrounded by nature and loved ones for two full days. Thank you Mom for being brave enough to camp with us! I see more in our future!

Audrey requested chocolate cake with strawberries and strawberry juice on top...and that is what she got.

I love this crazy girl.
