What a day!

The day started off with a drill, a bumpy pumpkin, and potato head body parts.

Then we spent some time at Dania Beach.

Note to self: DON'T FORGET HAIR TIES NEXT TIME.

After observing all the fishermen on the pier and talking to Addison about the basics of how it works, she loudly replied, "that's so mean, they're tricking the fish!" and that got us some looks!

Came home and bathed. Had a little quiet time with Sesame Street.

Then the girls wanted to play outside. Well, Audrey fell while getting off the outside of the trampoline. She fell right on her elbow. Her cry was different and the look of her face was different than other falls. I took her inside and laid her on the couch.

Addison brought her some of her favorite animals and 5 minutes later she was out...

When she woke up, she was still holding her elbow in pain and just not using that arm. So we took her to the emergency room.

Daddy met us there!

Once we saw the Dr. he popped it back into place which was so painful to see and hear her cries. Then it was like magic, she was back to normal Audrey. X-ray was fine, so we just need to watch her healing.

The girls are sleeping sweetly in their beds now and I just brewed a cup of pumpkin coffee to finish my chores.

Life is good.

We all had a little cold this week, but now we are starting to feel better! This change in weather has been amazing! We've been able to play outside so much more.

Picked out a pumpkin!

 I LOVE MY GIRLS.

Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa, for visiting yesterday! We had a blast enjoying the windy weather in the backyard, eating yummy fajitas and gelato, searching for Waldo together, and even playing with silly string (tears and all!). Also, thank you Dad for fixing Moving Leg Barbie's broken leg and for helping me with the dishes! And thank you Kim for the cute new clothes for the girls! We love you.

A wonderful weekend!

The weather is starting to change!

A few nights ago, in the middle of the night, we heard a huge bang outside. I had Andrew go check it out, but it was nothing....just a ton of coconuts!

Lou Lou was happy to see the coconuts.

 Very happy.

Best "toy" ever...binoculars.

I asked Audrey to go inside and bring me her pants....she came back out with no pants, but boots.

I LOVE HER.

Thankful for this short, easy to climb tree in the yard.

Addison had a blast a her friend's birthday party!

Thank you, Tommy and Heidi, for visiting with us tonight! Audrey and Uncle Tommy had a breakthrough tonight...she actually wanted to play with him!

I am so thankful my girls will have these sweet memories with Tommy and Heidi!

Enjoyed hide and go seek, some art work, and a yummy dinner together.

Andrew grilling chicken wrapped in bacon.

Heidi's yummy salad that even Audrey loved!

Each time Tommy and Heidi visit, they bring the girls a treasure from the sea and they LOVE it!

Tonight, Tommy and Addison sat together and worked on some artwork together and it made me very happy. Tommy speaks her love language : )

Where's Waldo?

About this time last year, I wrote a post about the Frozen fever that was taking over our household. It lasted almost the whole year and was the inspiration behind last year's halloween costumes. Well, I am happy (very, very happy) to announce that we are not as obsessed with Frozen anymore. Audrey is in love with Where's Waldo books and Addison is in love with Miles From Tomorrowland. Each night I ask the girls to pick out a few books to read before bed and Audrey ALWAYS brings a Waldo book to the couch to read. We have so much fun with it and the girls can actually find him, and Wenda, and Odlaw, and Whitebeard, and sometimes even Woof! So, when asked "what do you want to be for halloween this year" both girls settled on Waldo....and I am very, very excited about it!
