March catch up

March weather can be crazy...so it's nice to be crazy inside too!

BFFs...for the moment!

Give Audrey a writing utensil and you'll get some As!

The secret William Vale Park.

Trying hard to get that cartwheel!

MORE SNOW...The storm was named Stella!

Time for more As!

This dog...

The girls rather clean the house than their own toys...so let's make it happen!

And more As, this time on the wall in Audrey's "cave" (her bed).

Book lamp!

Grammy came to visit! She was scheduled to come on Addison's birthday, but had to postpone due to Scotty's accident. We will take her whenever! We took a cold trip out to Queens!

First to check out the Unisphere!

Then we walked/shivered to the Queens Zoo. The animals were all out and happy! Especially this Andean Bear.

Addison's aviary video:

Addison's bunny video:

We stopped by the science museum since it was a free Friday.

Audrey loves tape and her "heavy" baby from Nana.

Addison turned 6 and lost two bottom teeth! She pulled both out herself.

 Selfie window in Greenpoint.

Still dreaming of my family bike.

Addison loves the parkour class at the Brooklyn Zoo gym!

I love how Audrey draws her people.

We've been waiting and watching April the giraffe.

Tiffany and I flew home to see Dad and Scotty (and Benjamin!!). It felt so good to see them face to face and know that they will be well.

SIX!

Happy Birthday to Addison Jane!

Here it is ... Lego City Prisoner Island! She has talked about this nonstop for weeks.

We headed to the Rockefeller Center on Addison's birthday to ice skate and shop at the Lego store.

Lego cakes are harder to make than I imagined!

Step, step, glide, fall, repeat! SHE LOVED IT!

Hard day

Wishing today I could be making silly memories with these two Barber boys...

I love you both and will be praying for days like these to come again quickly.

Welcome Home, Austin!

Last week Austin came home from his deployment in Afghanistan. Andrew was excited to spend the weekend with him!

They spent most of their time climbing at the gym...

and climbing mountains!

Teeth and Love

Monday morning during breakfast, Addison started screaming and crying. I thought she bit her tongue, but after looking in her mouth we discovered that her two front bottom teeth were wiggly (and bloody)! So today motherhood stretched me two ways: 1) Emotionally as my first born baby is losing her baby teeth and 2) Creatively as she wanted to make a tooth pillow with mommy asap. So we started the day by making her tooth pillow, teal of course.

She is a little sad to lose her "beautiful teeth" and wants to make sure she can brush them before putting them in the tooth pillow pocket. She is also being very cautious about how she eats and when and where she wiggles her teeth with her tongue..."NOT ON THE SUBWAY".

We started Tuesday morning by rolling out and cutting Xs, Os, and <3s and then decorating them with SPRINKLES! We shared them with our co-op friends and the front desk.

All month we've been writing things we love about our girls. Thank you G & G Barber for the pjs! And Grammy and Poppy for the Valentine's.

Thank you Daddy for the flowers Xs three!

Now it's time to focus on Addison's upcoming 6th Birthday, which we plan to celebrate ice skating and with all things LEGO.
