March

Once again, I'm a bit behind. I do have an excuse, our hard drive broke! Luckily we had everything backed up on the external hard drive! Here is an update on what happened in March.

Addison wanted to go ice skating for her birthday present. Grammy was at a conference, but Poppy was here to join us!

She liked it, but we only managed to go around four times!

Sophie and Gunner waited by the front door until Steve came back with Mom!

Every weekend while Andrew grills, we play out in the yard. Now that it's so hot, playing outside usually includes water. Here is Audrey sliding through the sprinkler!

My darling bucket head.

We love Flamingo Gardens and want to thank Grandma and Grandpa Barber for the renewed membership! So, this picture was taken seconds before both girls were pooped on from birds above them in the aviary.

I wish all South Florida ducks were as pretty and nice as these!

Joined the MOPS group at Plantation Woods splash park.

Addison received this floor puzzle from a friend for her birthday and it's really started a puzzle spark in her! She loves them now! Need to get more floor puzzles!

Walking around with her teddy while Addison dances in ballet!

Washing their play dishes.

Ahhh, they both have strollers now!

 Morning ritual.

Good report at her dentist appointment! Stella had one the same week!

Grandma Barber treated us to Disney on Ice!

My favorite part.

Fun with the girls!

After Disney on Ice, we got to stop by the Ritter's house to say "hi". We are excited (and sad) to hear that Austin officially has a ship date for the Army! We know he will do well, as long as he can learn to keep a straight face : )

Then it happened.

Audrey wanted to potty train. Each time she saw Addison and I going, she wanted to go to. So I went for it. We spent an entire week home and she was naked the whole time!

She did an amazing job and quickly filled up her stamp chart.

Addison was very encouraging!

Then at the end of the week, we experimented with thick, training undies. So cute! She still has the occasional accident, but we are getting there! So proud of this stubborn 22 month old!

Cheese! She has 16 teeth now! Only waiting on her 2 year molars now.

I love my husband! He has been working very hard this month and we cherish our weekends!

Happy girl.

She was cold and sitting still, so I had to take this picture of her.

 Practicing her somersaults.

My niece, Madilynn Olivia Barber, turned 2 and had a Frozen party to celebrate!

Anna came to paint faces!

Glad to see Aunt Heidi and Uncle Tommy!

Addison loves her big cousins!

I love Madi as a two year old...stop growing up!

Taking a break to swing.

She wanted to climb the tree.

After the party, we had dinner at the Ritter's! Papa is seriously an amazing cook! One day the girls we learn to appreciate it like Andrew and I do!

We went to the MOPS Easter egg hunt this week and someone brought their pet bunnies! The girls loved it!

Checking out their goodies!

Addison is working hard on her Easter cards!

Received a really sweet surprise from one of our neighbors this morning! She made these baskets by hand and filled them for the girls!

The girls earned their medals in gymnastics today!

Waiting for her dance class to begin she told her teacher, "it's hard to be patient and wait." Yes, it is.

Happy 4th Birthday, Addison Jane!

Happy 4th Birthday to my Addison Jane!

Thank you Nana for the birthday outfit!
She wore it to storytime at the library and to lunch with friends.

After nap time we went to the beach. Addison loves the beach and it was the perfect way to end her birthday!

Thank you Austin for the dresses! Look how old she looks : (

 I love her.

Addison was either digging in the sand or running around singing.

 Giving her a mermaid tail!

Audrey loves the sand. She is pouring sand on her toes here.
She wasn't too thrilled about the water once a wave knocked her off her feet!

Every time she found a shell she would put it in her little dress pocket.

We celebrated Addison's birthday on Sunday with family and friends. She requested an ice cream party at Vista View Park (aka "the mountain park"... it's an old landfill). She had a blast! Thank you to all who came and helped me set up and clean up!

Scotty, Amanda, and the kids came a day early to help and we had so much fun visiting with them! We went to build a bear for the first time!

Madilynn kissing the heart :)

Audrey dragged her big box all the way through the mall and screamed "no!" when we offered to help her. Addison got a backpack carrier to help her! (that's how I roll!)

My Valentines

Yesterday was a hard day. A day full of tears, screams, nasty faces, bad attitudes, violence. I told the girls I would cancel Valentine's Day if they weren't going to be loving! Well, today has been very loving so far!

The girls love their bean bag chairs!

Tulips from Andrew : )

Snack time with my valentines.

Enjoying the weather as a family!

Thank you to all our family who sent valentines! We love you!

Addison made her ballet class little bouquets of flowers for vday.

Addison loves this holiday....that may have something to do with Fancy Nancy! Anyway, we have little handmade decorations all over the house. Here's a mosaic the girls did together:

This morning I let the girls eat a piece of dark chocolate with strawberry filling before eating their smoothie!

They were pretending the boxes were their doctor offices.

Static hair...her hair is sooo long!

Teaching Audrey how to play the iPad. A HUGE thanks to Tiffany who gave us her old iPad! Our first gen died!

We love Flamingo Gardens!

We had a quick visit from Poppy last week!

"Audrey went pee pee in the potty, woo woo woo woo woo." (Addi and I sing that each time!)

Andrew had elbow surgery last week. He is healing well, but he is anxious to have his mobility back (so are we!). Next week he may get to take the bandage off!
