Addison Arrives!
Last night (3/2) Amanda was extremely uncomfortable and couldn't sleep, so we stayed up late and watched the newest Survivor episode which we had recorded. Around midnight Amanda finally laid down to try and get some sleep, and around 12:10 her water broke. Her contractions began right after that, and we arrived at the hospital just before 1 am this morning. A little less than seven hours later Addison Jane was born, at 7:41 am, weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces, and measuring 19.5" long. We've now been moved to our final room for the hospital stay, where we'll be until sometime on Saturday. We're just recuperating from a long night and spending time with the new addition (addi-tion?) to our family.

3 more weeks
Only 3 more weeks! We are ready for her to come! Mom has her ticket (3/16-30), the Ritter's have their tickets (3/30-4/6), and Tiffy just booked her flight (4/14-19). Erin and Myles are going to try to come too!
Andrew made strawberry-orange juice this morning and it was yummy!

4 more weeks
One more month until Addison comes!
Now we start going to the doctor every week.
We have had amazing weather this week! It's 49 degrees and sunny today! Pretty much all the snow has melted, which the dogs have appreciated. We took a walk today to the park to enjoy the sun.

5 more weeks
Today I am 35 weeks pregnant! I have gained 23 pounds and my waist is now 37.5 inches around! Meanwhile, Andrew has lost 25 pounds! I feel pretty great with a few exceptions--my right rib feels bruised and I got heartburn for the first time in my life!
Andrew and I are going to the Chicago Shakespeare Theater tonight to watch "Funk it up about Nothin'" which is a rap adaptation of "Much ado about Nothing" and we are excited! Once Addison comes it may be awhile before we can do this sort of thing : )
We have had a crazy cold front this week...it's been in the negatives several mornings! Next week will be better though!
